Femicide is the intentional killing of women and girls because of their gender.

It is the most extreme form of gender-based violence, a global crisis that takes the life of a woman or girl every 10 minutes at the hands of a partner or family member.

Behind every statistic is a human life, and a community of "invisible victims" — orphaned children, bereaved parents, and heartbroken siblings—left to carry the memory forward. This space is dedicated to them, and to the stories that must be told.
